Animal Crossing City Folk Review
Here is my 130th post and the long awaited ACCF review.
Story: You're minding your own business on the bus to the town you name. Rover the cat asks some questions that creates your character. The story is not that good.
Gameplay: When you get to the town you name you have to go to town hall and find a house you like then Tom Nook will tell you to work for him for a while. After like 10 minutes of hard labor you're aloud to do what you want to do. You can make your house bigger, go fishing, catch bugs, make designs, buy stuff, arrange furniture, and mingle with your neighbors. There are lots of neighbors that you can mingle with so no gaming experience will ever be the same. When you start playing the game you have only 5 neighbors but, you get one more per day until you have 10. They'll move in and out of your town depending on your relashinship with them. New to the series is the city. You can change your hair style, get a Mii mask, buy emotions at the marqee and more. To get there you have to get to the gate and click on the sign. You can leave your town or have people come into your town with the Online connection. You can have 3 friends come over to your town. If you buy the Wiispeek you'll be able to talk to your friend like they're all in the same room. If you don't you can talk to them useing the message maker thingy. At the Able sister's place you can buy hat's clothes and make a Pro Design. A pro design alows you to design the front, the back, and the sleeves seperate. Making your house is a big thing in this game. You can decorate the house however you want. You can have up to 3 rooms you can decorate if you pay the morgages. Making lot's of money or bells as they're called is crusial as well. So you can buy cool stuff. You can get addicted to this game for even a year. But, there are some events that change the game a little. There are the holidays such as Christmas and even your birthday.
Graphics: Nintendo made the game look a little like a GC game to make the game simpler. But, it does look good. I do like the look of the city at night.
Music: Pretty good. Every hour the music outside changes. Also every Saturday at 8:00 PM you'll be able to listen to K.K. Rider's songs. I love K.K.'s songs. If you have a radio you can put the song you just listened to in it.
Tips: Selling Fish and bugs is the key to get lots of money. If you take fruit your town didn't start with you can get's lot's of money for it. Bury the fruit to make trees that grow that fruit. The catalog is an important thing in AC. If you held an item that is not in Nook's catalog it will be cataloged. There is a point system that Nook has. If you buy stuff at his store points will be added to your point card. You can get items like, Midna's mask, the Hero's cap Mario's cap and more. You should buy all the furniture then sell the stuff you don't want to get some of your money back.
Bad: It's ranting time. Everytime you go to the city and back to your town you'll have to talk to capp'n it's boring and time consuming. You have to pay the morgages to make your house bigger it's just annoying. You can't jump, swim, or even climb trees. In order for Nook to remodel his store you have to buy stuff but, It can take days to turn his store into a better one. Some of the tasks your neighbors give you are insane. You can't make your own holiday. Some of the things in ACCF can only be done once per day. Lastly you can't design the outside of the house except for the roof color and the flag you get after you finished all of the morgages.
Good: Mr. Resetti he appears when you press the reset button during the game. He talks to you about random things and get's really mad at you it's funny. Using the tools is very simple. If you have an internet connection you'll recieve a letter from Nintendo with a present. I got Ladder shades from them the day after I started ACCF. The online connection allows you to play with your friends and perticipate in their events. Making designs is cool and buying stuff to desing my character and decorating the inside of the house. K.K. Rider is always cool and has catchy music. I didn't use this option but, for those who played the DS animal crossing game there is an option that allows you to get your character from Wild World in City Folk. You'll be able to keep your catalog too.
Conclusian: Because of the Wii's internal clock everyday is really a brand new day. The game will know what time it is, the day, and if it's day or night. The game will actually know how long you haven't been playing. Also on time one of your neighbors will ask you when your birthday is. The Mii mask is kinda cool. If you never played an Animal Crossing game before this is perfect for you. If you played Wild World and the original this game will rub you the wrong way. Almost everything from the past games are the same. You'll still like it. You should get the Wii version if you have a Wii. You should get the DS version if you have a DS. But which is better? If you have a Wii and a DS it'll be hard to choose. The DS version is cheaper but, the Wii version has a better way to communicate with your friends online. It depends on you.
Score: For a game that is addictive, and fun I'm proud to give this game a
9/10. If you have your family members playing this game too you'll have to live in the same town so to warn you.

F-zero X (N64) Snap judgement Review
It's a Snap Judgement review 'cause it's hard. Here's the review. I don't always quit when the game is hard I do come back to play it. Here's the Review.
Gameplay: It's a racing game that goes at an emence speed. Some people can get sesuires from this game. You can play the game in the GP race mode. Where you get to choose how hard to play the game. You have to do all the difficulties and all the cups to unlock the other characters. There are 6 races per cup. The Time Trials are self explainitory, Vs mode is where you play with friends. Death race is where you have to kill the other racers on the track. When you race on the tracks you can bump your opponents off the track to kill them. You can fall off the track yourself. Your main target to kill but, optional is your rivals. They are different per each character you play as. You start with 6 charaters but, you unlock the other characters by completing the difficulties. When racing you'll notice there are 30 racers to race. You have a life bar so you have to be careful. When on the 2nd lap you'll have boost power. When boosting you'll loose some of your life so use it wisly. You can find purple parts of the track which fills up you life.
Graphics: In order to keep the game fast Nintendo had to sacrifice some of the detail of the tracks and racers. The graphics are still cool to look at. The tracks were fun to play on.
Music: (Sorry I forgot this part in my punch out review the music in that game was great.) F-Zero X they were cool.
Bad: This game is hard even on the easiest difficulty. Racing with 29 other racers makes it harder.
Good: 29 other racers can make it fun. You have more characters to play as than Mario Kart 64 and Mario Kart Wii combined.
Conclusion: This game was still a good game. If you want a game better and harder than Mario Kart 64 this game is for you.
Score: 6/10.

Punch-out (Wii) Snap Judgement Review
It's been a long time since I did another review because I couldn't get on my account. I'm here again and when I'm here a review fallows. This time it's a new game for the wii. Punch out for the Wii.
Story: It's been 20 years since Little Mac was defeated by King Hippo. Doc Louis was training him all this time and Little Mac is ready to face all the boxers once again.
Gameplay: There are 3 modes in this game. There is the Career mode which takes you through the story. When you face a boxer you haven't fought you'll get a funny cutscene. There are 3 circuits, the Minor, Major, and World circuits. When you beaten the last boxer in the circuit you'll get the belt and become champion. When you defeated all the boxers you'll have to fight all the boxers again to defend your title. But the fighters are harder. The next mode is the Exhibition mode this is helpful for practice or to fight a boxer you enjoyed to fight. Last mode is the head to head mode. Where the players get to play as 2 Little Macs. But I havn't played it so I can't review that mode. When you fight the boxers they can be way bigger than you. It reminds me of David and Golith. You'll have to remember all the boxers moves or you'll be defeated faster than you say: Sally sells seashells on the sea. If you hit the boxers on the right second you'll get a star so you can use your Final sma- I mean Star punch.
Graphics: Nintendo went with a cell shaded look but, the graphics are great.
Related games to download for the Wii: Punch out NES and Super Punch out Snes.
Bad: The game is hard. You can't play as any of the other boxers.
Good: the Humor and Fun, I heard Donkey Kong is in the game.
Conclusian: If you want a good work out and a different boxing experiance than you might like it.
Score: 9/10

Top 5 boss battles
I wanted to show you my top 5 favorite Bosses. Warning this contains some spoilers cause I'm going to tell you how to beat it. This list was hard to make.
#5: Tabuu
From Super Smash Bros. Brawl: Adventure Mode.
All you have to do to defeat him is to keep hitting him. People don't like him because of that blast attack. The secret to dodging it is sidestep dodging.
#4: 01 from: Kirby 64. One of my least favorite games but, this is a cool boss. I hadn't completed the game but, this is the coolest boss i could find in Kirby 64.
He kept tranforming and you had to defeat him by sucking up his attacks and shoot it back at it.
#3: Hag 1: From Banjo Tooie
This boss was big and hard to beat it without cheating.
It's hard to explain how to how to kill it. Let's just say it's a puzzle in itself to defeat it.
#2: Star Wolf: From Starfox 64
You get to fight 4 characters. This boss takes place on Venom and 2 other places. It's harder to fight them on Venom. I can't defeat them on Venom. Because I have that terible single shot laser, But when I had the blue laser I took 2 of them down. I noticed that you should shoot them while they are coming in the planet.
#1: Ganondorf: From the Zelda games. In every Zelda game there is a cool Ganondorf boss. I really love the boss in Zelda Twilight Princess.
To beat him you start on your horse. Zelda will try to shoot him with light arrows when he's hit you have to hit him with your sword. When he falls off his horse you get a regular sword fight. try using the back slice and when he charges at you press the a button when told to do it then you have to press the A button rapidly. When knocked down use the ending blow.
There's my top 5 bosses.

Truth About Mario Kart 64
Ok if you saw my review of it I might have been too hard on it. The graphics on the race tracks were good for the N64 but, the racer designs are terrible. To tell the truth I liked the game. Also I still think there should of been more characters, tracks and 1 player modes. It's still a good game and without it we wouldn't have Mario Kart Wii.

Leaving soon
Me and my family will be leaving for one of the great lakes on Sunday. My family won't tell me which lake we're going to. If you played Zelda Twilight Princess (If you're 13 or older to buy it for the Wii) I get touched in some of the scenes.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8FkmRTTA2B4&feature=related
When the music in this link plays I most likely get touched. (Don't comment on this part) I just start crying listening to this music.
Wes,
My next post will have my top 5 favorite Metroid music.
